
It is essential in the career of a young executive that he/she needs to learn to cope with and respond to the various demands of the job he/she is assigned to. The expectations of supervisors, colleagues and even subordinates (not to mention customers and significant others outside work) can further exacerbate this pressure on the executive. How does he/she manage successfully, i.e. organize his/her skills, capabilities and mental flexibility to meet and satisfy these expectations….without being disoriented or overstressed in the process?
This programme focuses on the individual and is designed to help him/her understand and come to terms with his/her strengths and vulnerabilities as others see him/her in different situations. The central theme is to provide new perspectives and hence alternatives in tackling work and personal concerns…. thus becoming a more effective executive and a better balanced and more positive individual.

The programme is expected to provide participants with skills in:
- Analyzing personal strengths and vulnerabilities, motivations and values
- Discerning the priorities of stakeholders and responding effectively
- Developing emotional intelligence in assessing and interpreting situations
- Identifying and matching personal aspirations with the organization’s objectives
- Communicating, relating and working effectively with others
- Developing capabilities in holistic and systemic thinking without compromising the ability to respond to specific and current situations expeditiously and effectively.
- Formulating action plans for their continued personal growth and development.

The programme is learner-centered, integrated in nature and participative as a requirement. There will be input and discussion sessions, short case responses, video films to better illustrate learning points, group work and self assessments with feedback from colleagues and facilitators. Participants can expect to be challenged positively to improve their effectiveness in ‘facing themselves’, dealing with situations and/or with people.
